North Carolina has contributed greatly to the story of drink in America and across the globe. In the 19th century, North Carolina dominated wine production in the United States. By the early 20th century, North Carolina boasted the reputation of “Moonshine Capital of the World.” Today North Carolina is recognized as one of the most respected hubs of the craft beer industry.
Our exhibits occupy three separate spaces (plus a traveling exhibit). We encourage you to visit all three to get the full cultural experience.
